SIDEC launches SAD33

Sidec launches a new version of its pore filler, the product used for sealing the pores of a quartz floor, called SAD33.

Sidec lanceert SAD33SAD33 has already been tested and approved unanimously by over 20 Belgian and Dutch applicators.

SAD33 is very easy to process. Where SAD08 still suffered from turning yellow because of exposure to UV light and where SAD22 could leave tiny holes after the first layer, the SAD33 pore filler no longer turns yellow and not a single hole is left.

After placing this pore filler virtually no squeegee marks are left. SAD33 also has a very high water resistance.

In addition, the SAD33, which is slightly thicker, serves as a perfect primer for vertical applications (quartz walls and crystal walls).

Packaging

  • buckets of 10 liter
  • buckets of 20 liter

Consumption

  • on 1-2mm: 0,500 kg/m²
  • on 2-3mm: 0,600 kg/m²
  • on 3-4mm: 0,800 kg/m²

Characteristics of SAD33

  • Very easy to process
  • Does not turn yellow
  • Covers most, if not all, holes
  • Virtually no squeegee marks
  • Very high water resistance

Handling type

  • SAD33 can be applied at least 24 hours after the decorative floor has been installed.
  • SAD33 is ready to use. Pour SAD33 on the floor and spread carefully with a (window) squeegee.
  • In order to obtain the best possible density, always apply in both directions (left-right, front-back) and remove excess material.
  • After application a gentle ventilation will initiate a quicker hardening.
  • Make sure that during the drying process no dust, water or other dirt gets onto the floor.
  • Work fast enough to avoid initial drying and overlap marks
  • Further processing is only possible after SAD33 has dried fully and transparently.
  • If necessary, apply two coats SAD33 to obtain an optimal sealing of pores.
  • Use only on newly installed and clean floors.
